Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and using our travel services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
About Our Services
Travels by Hal provides personalized travel planning and booking services including but not limited to:
- Luxury vacation planning and coordination
- Premium cruise bookings and arrangements
- Group travel coordination and management
- Bespoke travel itinerary creation
- Travel consultation and advisory services
- Emergency travel support and assistance
Booking and Reservations
Booking Process
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our travel partners. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us and any required deposits have been processed.
Payment Terms
- Deposits are typically required at the time of booking
- Full payment is generally due 60-90 days before travel (varies by package)
- Payment plans may be available for certain bookings
- All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
- Prices may fluctuate based on currency exchange rates and supplier pricing
Price Changes
While we strive to maintain accurate pricing, costs may change due to factors beyond our control including but not limited to fuel surcharges, government taxes, currency fluctuations, and supplier price increases.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Client
- More than 90 days before travel: Full refund minus administrative fees
- 60-90 days before travel: 50% refund of paid amounts
- 30-59 days before travel: 25% refund of paid amounts
- Less than 30 days before travel: No refund (subject to supplier policies)
Cancellation by Travels by Hal
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a trip due to insufficient enrollment, natural disasters, political instability, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or credit toward future travel.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen circumstances, medical emergencies, and trip interruptions.
Travel Documentation
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documentation including:
- Valid passport (with at least 6 months remaining validity)
- Required visas for destination countries
- Health certificates and vaccination records as required
- Travel insurance documentation
- Emergency contact information
We provide guidance on documentation requirements, but ultimate responsibility lies with the traveler. We are not liable for denied boarding or entry due to improper documentation.
Health and Safety
Travelers must disclose any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or accessibility needs that may affect their travel experience. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements but cannot guarantee all needs can be met.
Participation in activities is at your own risk. We recommend consulting with healthcare providers before travel, especially for adventure activities or travel to certain destinations.

Limitation of Liability
Travels by Hal acts as an intermediary between clients and travel service providers. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services. We are not responsible for:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, or extreme weather conditions
- Political instability, terrorism, or government actions
- Supplier bankruptcy, schedule changes, or service modifications
- Personal injury, illness, or death during travel
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Costs arising from travel delays or cancellations
Behavior and Conduct
Travelers are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and respectfully toward other travelers, local communities, and service providers. We reserve the right to remove individuals from trips for disruptive behavior, with no refund provided.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and itineraries, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The laws of the state in which Travels by Hal is registered shall govern these terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
